Earlier this year I was commissioned by Umut Gunduz to do an animation for Vacheron Constantin and BBC StoryWorks. It was created using oil painting on glass over a lightbox, and you can see a small snippet of it here
A really fun project earlier this year making fruit heads for retail window displays. More images in the retail/prop sections of the website.
Jobs seem to come in waves, and the current wave is upholstery based. In the past 2 weeks I've done some chairs, a load of stools, a sofa and this week i'm tackling a deep-buttoned chaise.
Just finished a fun project with artist Matt Copson, making some animals for his performance event at the Serpentine Gallery Magazine Sessions. A lion, deer, fox, chicken and a bird. It was really great to work alongside the artist, which is slightly uncommon in the fabricating world, and nice to be credited in the publication - another rarity!
